Recently Chevron and Mechanical_Roo ended up in a couple of bidding wars on e-bay. While they each obtained something they wanted, and an amusing anecdote, this probably could have been cheaper if there was some kind of prior coordination.

The Ebay username masking is consistent: http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/bidding-overview.html states so at the bottom. So the easiest way to find yours is have someone else look at what you are bidding on.

So in the interests of more efficient bidding, I propose a table of ebay usernames and abbreviated aliases for any who wish to put their own details in.
