(I won't be updating this. I think it's nice to have some starting (or nearly starting) sheets lying around as examples, though.)
Which is as far as she got. Feeling that she'd been living on borrowed time ever since she somewhat unexpectedly came back from killing Antenor, Charlotte volunteered for the probably-suicidal Defending The East Gate From The Fist Shock Troops mission during the attack of December 2nd 1289. Charlotte got the honourable death she'd wanted, invoking her Ultimate Faith in the lord Humact which gave her Flange (and, as far as I know, made me the first person to call SLAY in play). When she finally went down, the defenders had killed all but five of the Fist troops, so while the gate didn't quite hold, when it failed there were no elite soldiers left to come through it.

Charlotte was laid to rest immediately on her death, and is presumably now living it up in the halls of Humact.

And I'd like to thank Garuda, lmm and the players of the NPCs for the Best. Battle. Ever.

A distant relative of Wilfred of Corfe, the Seneschal of the King who was killed in the 1287 dispute over the royal succession, Charlotte was brought up an honourable and devout member of the Humacti faith, as expected of a family loyal to the King. In common with many minor nobles, her choices on growing up amounted roughly to "get married" or "go into the Church". Reasoning that the getting married might well happen anyway, she went into the Church, where she found her keen eye and attention to detail made her a natural scholar.

After a while spent in the Temple of Humact in Londinium researching and producing annotated drawings of the undead (drawn from memory, of course, one shouldn't leave the honoured dead lying around...) Charlotte was spiritually awakened. Shortly after that, she was sent to the temple in Grantabrugge to continue her instruction there. She has a slight suspicion the Church was entirely happy to quietly remove as many of the Corfe family from Londinium as it could.

This was about two years ago. In May 1288, the necromancer Antenor surrounded the city with his undead minions, and while pretty much every able-bodied person in the city took part in a frontal assault on the army, a party of three adventurers and one rather surprised Humacti priest sneaked round the camp and slew Antenor himself. Charlotte has never quite worked out what happened to get her sent on that special mission, though she suspects some combination of a prank and it being known that she enjoyed Keeping An Eye On Sesqui.

After the mess with Antenor was all cleared up, Charlotte settled down to a nice, quiet life in the temple with her books, her drawings, and the occasional piece of zombie. But once the adventuring bug has bitten, it won't ever quite let go...
