The appearance of a silent man with a smile and a notebook met with mixed responses in Grantabrugge, but on the whole Sir Asher was given a friendly reception. He got particularly warm attention from the Guelders. Only too soon, however, he was forced to call upon his Ultimate Faith to help cast down the necromantic taint in the Pork Pie Factory, and was taken up to Humact.
It was still probably for the best that he died before having to bring his more clandestine abilities to bear. As a Mantis Knight of the Sanctuary he was in fact trained in subterfuge, forgery, and assassination - abilities that are normally useful to a silent, black-clad monk, but that proved singularly unhelpful when he tried the normal Humacti approach of fighting a horde of undead head-on...
At least Humact was pretty happy with him. Mallan probably thought he was all right, too.
