He has spent the years since then improving his study of magical effects on the mind, using Night and Day magic to heal those driven insane by ritual backlash and other trauma. The Arbiter at the time, Heron of Halcyon, planned to bring the spire up to date by engaging more with the other scholars of the Empire, but was unexpectedly obliged to retire in the Autumn of 377.

At the Winter Solstice of 378, he contested the position of Dean and won it from ‘Evil Wizard’ Simargl in a hard-fought election. At long last he really can do what he must!
At the Winter Solstice of 378, he contested the position of Dean and won it from ‘Evil Wizard’ Simargl in a hard-fought election. The glory was however short-lived, and when Simargl reclaimed the Lyceum, Eudaemon turned more and more to the Eternals Rhianos, Ylenrith, and especially Janon.

His end came when he subverted a ritual in an attempt to curse Sarvos with a season of chaos and madness. He was cast out by everyone he had loved, cursed into insanity, and taken away to the Black Ocean Ward from whence he will never return.
