Here are some times!

We would like to have people there for 11.30 in the morning for the start of the PBB. A light lunch will be provided after the first of three mini-linears. If you are catching the bus, we advise the 11.00 bus, which gets in at 11.25. We aim to finish the PBB around 5pm.
Every year (except last one. Oops.), CLS holds a banquet, preceded by the huge and fantastic Pre-banquet Bash (PBB) adventure, at Emmanuel United Reformed Church on Trumpington Street. The banquet/PBB weekend is now the 7th February.

The banquet proper will be starting at 5.30 ish, giving people time to change and clean themselves.

Every year, TT holds a banquet, preceded by the huge and fantastic Pre-banquet Bash (PBB) adventure, at Little Abington Scout Camp (just south of Cambridge).
The banquet/PBB weekend is now the 22nd-24th February, after a slight incident of roof repairs scuppered the original date.

The banquet is TT's answer to an Annual Dinner (held by most University Societies) and involves a meal in several courses in one hall of the buildings, with ceilidh dancing between each course in another of the halls. The banquet is not IC but the dress code is 'larp costume', usually the fancier stuff. Partners and friends who are non-larpers are very welcome and people are often happy to lend out some kit for this.

After the Banquet you can stay over at no extra cost. The site has shower facilities, etc. You'll need your own sleeping kit preferably including a roll-mat as we'll be on a floor but we will be inside in a warm building so no tents will be necessary. Please let us know if you'd like to stay over by indicating on your booking form (you can change your mind at short notice on this if necessary).
Since we're in a church hall, there is (obviously) nowhere for visitors to sleep. We can provide crashspace and some of it might even have actual beds in. Please indicate on your booking form if you need somewhere to sleep, or if you can provide any crashspace, so we can match people with houses.

Prices are £36 before the early booking deadline and £40 thereafter to encourage people to book in time for the caterers to buy the food. (For our student members, the price is around the average price for Society annual dinners and unlike us, they don't include a Ceilidh, a massive adventure, and somewhere to sleep afterwards)
Prices are £33 before the early booking deadline and £38 thereafter to encourage people to book in time for the caterers to organise the food. Every year (except last one. Oops.), CLS holds a banquet, preceded by the huge and fantastic Pre-banquet Bash (PBB) adventure, at Emmanuel United Reformed Church on Trumpington Street. The banquet/PBB weekend is now the 7th February.

The banquet is CLS's answer to an Annual Dinner (held by most University Societies) and involves a meal in several courses, with ceilidh dancing between each course, in the United Reformed Church on Trumpington Street The banquet is not IC but the dress code is 'larp costume', usually the fancier stuff. Partners and friends who are non-larpers are very welcome and people are often happy to lend out some kit for this.

Members of other Larp Societies are warmly welcomed.

The Ceilidh will be suitable for beginners and will be called by our (formerly) very own Jacob with music from the Band Formerly known as the Big Round Band.

The food will be catered by Crucible Catering, aka Rosemary Warner and David Proctor, who suddenly needed a name for themselves (menu to be finalised shortly). Any and all dietary requirements can and will be provided for, just tell us on the form.

There will be some mead on the tables as part of the ticket price (roughly enough for about a glass each), and a lot of nice fruit juices. If you'd like more mead you can order and pay for it as part of your banquet booking. If you'd like wine or anything else, you're very welcome to bring your own. If you don't want a whole bottle, ask if people want to share. IC drinks containers are encouraged!

Since we're in a church hall, there is (obviously) nowhere for visitors to sleep. We can provide crashspace and some of it might even have actual beds in. Please indicate on your booking form if you need somewhere to sleep, or if you can provide any crashspace, so we can match people with houses.

If you're not a regular TTer, coming down on Friday, attending the interactive, staying overnight somewhere (crashspace will be available) and going to the PBB and Banquet is the best way to get the maximum Cambridge TT experience for your weekend.

Prices are £33 before the early booking deadline and £38 thereafter to encourage people to book in time for the caterers to organise the food. Thanks,
