Update: Following the "success" of the first session, I'm going to run a second session of Pokéthulhu. Former players, please let me know if you're interested. There is also space for one or two more people, so get in touch on IRC or in person if you want to join!

* Should be good for either tuesday or wednesday -Hark
* Preference for after the 7th of June to avoid report deadlines, and not the 13th/14th because ODC. Otherwise good :) -Biscuits
* My exams end on the 7th. --MorkaisChosen
* Not availiable on either of the weekends (insurrection + ODC), but should be free for the week nights. --Drac

Second session will run starting about 5.20 on Wednesday 12th June, with pizza orders later on if people are so inclined, and will be at Sidney Sussex MCR (same place as last time). If you don't have my mobile number then feel free to ask :) -- Nyeti
Two sessions ran, with hilarious results. Porange's character found a giant undead eel, put it in a Christmas sweater, and terrorised the town with its Soul Shredding Blast. Kangaroo's had a Dodecahedron stolen from his stomach. Hark's physically punched his way through a wall of fishy Pokéthulhu with the others clinging to his shoulders.

Sadly I am no longer in Cambridge to continue the campaign in person, but if people wish to resurrect this as a Skype-based game I would be happy to make that happen. -- Nyeti

What is Pokéthulhu?

In the many dark corners of the land, unspeakable horrors lurk, ready to consume the souls of unsuspecting mortals, and eldritch monsters assail reality from the icy void of space. Fortunately, though, a lucky few have the sanity to subdue and even command these things: schoolchildren. The greatest forces in the world are gangs of preteen cultists who journey wherever they want, capture exciting monsters, train them, and battle each other for such coveted prizes as Elder Badges, artefact Shining Dedecahedrons, and lunch money.

“Is your Shoplifting score good enough to sneak a page from your opponent's Pokénomicon? Is your trained Jigglypolyp powerful enough to defeat a devolved Fungal Cluster? This is the world of Pokéthulhu, and now it's yours to save – or conquer!”

It's a D12-based system with fairly simple rules. [You can download the zip file here.]
