The distant future: the year 2400. The starship Forward has arrived in an alien star system, sent across 22 light-years to the planet Anteros to explore signs of life - and to investigate the failure, decades ago, of the original mission.
But this is an unmanned mission. The pathfinders aboard the Forward are not humans but robots designed, built, and programmed by the mission backers to explore this strange new world, to seek out new life and new civilisations, to boldly go where no man has gone before... and maybe never will.
This is a planned RPG campaign using Engine Heart, a D10-based system (mostly using dice pools). You can download the rulebook [here] from 1d4chan. The premise of Engine Heart is a world were humans are missing and little robots make the best of things without.
