16 ingredients, potions up to 2 ingredients, elixirs up to 1 ingredient, 2G 2B 2S 2C 2R, literacy and numeracy, First Aid II.

Erm. This build can actually make size 2 potions and size 1 elixirs. Thus there isn't any point in taking the ingredients past level 2. Also, it's worth noting that the Alchemists' Guild won't take you if you can't count (though she may not be a Guild alchemist, of course). I would personally replace level 3 of the ingredients with Numeracy and some levels of Alchemical Knowledge. --Pufferfish

Oh yes, skill is bizarre isn't it. Oops. I also suspect I can't add up. --ChessyPig
I'd still want some Alchemical Knowledge in there. YMMV, particularly depending on the character. "I haven't a clue what's *in* it, I just make it my the bucketload" is an entirely valid and sensible approach :) --Pufferfish
I was definitely going for no Alchemical Knowledge on purpose - she wouldn't have literacy or numeracy if the guild hadn't required it, either. --ChessyPig
I see no problem with an illiterate, innumerate alchemist. I don't know much about the current Guild, but can see they might reject the innumeracy with good reason, and reject illiteracy with some justification. OTOH, it certainly isn't a requirement for the skills. --I
Sure, it's always been the *Guild* rules rather than that it can't be done. It would be very bad press, and probably expensive, if someone accidentally poisoned themselves by not being able to read the warnings... --Pufferfish
