What activities do they enjoy, but consider to be a waste of time? *Constant partying without a goal. The destruction of revenants. The first is pointless, the second is a disgusting waste of resources which I will NOT tolerate. |

*Hell no! I've done it once before, and it was nice! If I die, I'll leave behind a bunch of people who will finish my quest, and I'll get to go be part of my God's power, like all my ancestors and like Simeon. I think I'd like that. If I didn't have so much unfinished business, I'd be happy to die right now. |

Daria comes from of large family of wandering Apritants, who travel from village to village sorting out problems. She is the youngest of her five siblings, and no-one ever expected her to amount to much until she signed up to go to Mat Sellah. There, under the influence of Simeon, a necromantic researcher/theologian and her best friend, her priestly skills have grown considerably. Daria is loud, brave, and unrefined, but she is not stupid. If you need some strangers dealt with, she's your gal.
Daria was briefly the Aspirant Ambassador to Mat Sellah, due to the higher-ups not wanting to risk anyone important around the Fire-Mage Plague. She is now very angry at the bureaucratic bullshit surrounding Mat Sellah and getting anything done there.
Simeon's death changed Daria. She began to wear his sash embroidered with the symbol of the Aspirant, became more fanatical, and began to do her own research based on some notes he left behind. Her second year on Mat Sellah was mostly spent working with Avric, a more adventurous but less dedicated Aspirant priest, and helping improve Fort Aspirant, a village she and Simeon had taken on as a pet project. In early May, Daria completed Simeon's final work and with a huge ritual was able to turn herself into a sentient, superhealing, essentially immortal Revenant.
At the final gasp of the Portal, Daria was a member of the ritual to manifest The Explorer. She might have slain the others and manifested her own God, only she spent the weekend under an effect which relaxed her fanaticism by causing her to feel nothing was evil and that cooperation was the way forward. She has now sworn to live on and wait until the final gasp of the next Portal. No matter where or when it happens, you can guarantee that Daria and her undead friends will be there, ready to welcome The Aspirant to the world.
Five Word Concept at the end: Angry immortal lich priestess waits.
