1. Who are you?

I am Sir Bathory, to be more formal I am Sir Bathory Greenhaven, Priest of Justice and Knight of Humact

2. Do you have any brothers or sisters?

I had two brothers, one older, one younger, plague took the elder to Humact and war the younger

3. How old are you?

I am twenty nine

4. What's your height?

Five feet and two inches

5. Are you a virgin?

This is a most impolite question to ask.

6. Who's your mate/spouse?

Sir Althea of Humact

7. Do you have any kids?

No

8. What's your favorite food?

I have no income as such, thus I am not fussy.

9. Have you killed anyone?

Yes, in a past life I killed all those who would threaten the temple. Now I will kill if Justice demands it

10. Have any secrets?

No, I choose to me open about what I have done, it is my burden and I cannot run from it again

11. Do you love anyone?

Yes

12. What is your job?

I am a knight and priest of the Lord Justice though this is more of a duty

13. Boy or girl?

I'm female, the title should not be an obstacle in understanding this

14. What do you do to relax?

Relax? I don't.

15. There's a person who's teasing you; what could you do?

Take the insult and avoid rising to it, of course I could beat them into submission with this would perhaps be less honourable. In truth it depends on the insult, I am short of temper and quick of spear it must be said...

16. Let’s say you have a person who you really care about but she/he doesn’t know about your feelings. How do you tell her/him?

Simply tell them by word or action, as has been proven.

17. What do you regret most in life?

Less than I once did, perhaps still more than most would.

18. Do you like your maker?

I am... Ambivalent towards them

19. What do you fear?

I fear a death without atonement for my sins, a life lived in cowardice.

1. What would your character kill for? What would they die for?

I would kill and die if it was required to serve my Lord Justice.

2. What would they refuse to do under any circumstances? Why?

Act without honour again, discharge a duty without its completion.

3. What do they dream about? [Either literal or figurative].

Fire, screams and clashing swords...

4. What’s their biggest fear?

I fear my mind cracking once more, I fear my own cowardice and what will become of me through these.

5. What single object would they be most hard pressed to part with? Why?

My sword, it has been handed through my family through generations of us, it has history and a nice weight to it.

6. What is their fondest memory?

Times spent in my duty and with friends

7. What is their worst memory?

Going back over the charred ruins of my temple to see if there was anyone I could save and finding I was too late.

8. What or who was were their most significant influence? Expound.

My father and his grandfather before him, they taught me all they knew about fighting, duty and honour.

9. What do they believe makes a successful life?

When your bad deeds and failures do not outweigh those good deeds and successes.

10. What makes them laugh?

I was described once as completely lacking in a sense of humour.

11. What are their religious views?

I was once a lay Humacti, I am now a priest of Justice, this is perhaps more fitting for my outlook. I believe the punishment should truely fit the crime and that crime and law are often falsely assumed to be one...

12. What is their greatest strength?

I am not unskilled with a blade nor unskilled with any weapon

13. Do they have a fatal flaw? If so, what is it?

I am an abject coward in the face of death. I am also extraordinarily short tempered...

14. Who is the most important person in their life?

Sir Althea

15. If they died or went missing, who would miss them most?

Some would...

16. How would they describe themselves?

One who has disgraced themselves, sought and found a redemption and now must be forever wary of losing this

17. How would others describe them?

Mad perhaps more often than I would like

Jacob's Meme

How do you look different to your player?

A more angular, harder face with a virtually permenant scowl

What are your hobbies or entertainments?

I used to sit and talk or spar, now not so much

How do you support yourself?

I have only what I can beg

What is your home like?

The stars in the sky and the cold hard ground.

What are your most cherished possessions?

My uniform and my sword.

What are you proudest of?

That for a precious few years I was an effective and honourable captain of the guard, diverting many threats from the temple

What are you most ashamed of or feel most guilty about?

When the above was no longer true

Under what circumstances is it justifiable to resort to violence?

To test, to prove, to defend.

1. Your character is being announced at the Royal Ball by the most pompous, enthusiastic and long-winded Master of Ceremonies in recorded history. What do they declaim?

Given the circumstances I suspect my full title would be used; "Sir Bathory Greenhaven nee Mcallister, Knight of Humact, Priest of the Lord Justice"

2. Give a 6-word backstory and/or history for your character, prior to their entering play - it is needed for the character bio on the back cover of this season's DVD.

Ashes and sackcloth: Knight seeking redemption

3. However improbable it may seem, your character just won a boasting competition. What was their winning boast?

Improbable indeed. Very well, when I was younger I defeated some sort of giant monstrous undead in single combat, unarmed and by sheer blind luck alone

4. Your character loses a hand irrevocably, and is given the opportunity to have something grafted on to replace it. What do they pick?

A claw or grip, something practical

5. What one impossible thing would you most like to have, be, or be able to do, in order to better physrep your character?

Speak in an accent not dissimilar from the St Andrew's one

6. Your character is asked by their immediate superior which one thing they would choose to save from their dwelling, were it on fire. Sensing that a flippant answer is not called for, how do they instead answer?

I have no home, should the world be on fire then I suspect we have bigger worries.

7. Your character was abducted by Nightmares (or local equivalent) on the way out of the Arms, and wakes up in a sack (just as armed as they left the pub). What do they have in their pockets, and what one further thing do they wish they had also picked up from home this morning?

I sincerely wish I had a crossbow.

8. Your character's life is flashing before their eyes. Describe briefly any two of the following: Leaving their childhood home. Losing their first love. The first time they killed. The first time they lost a comrade. Another occasion on which they nearly died. A time they lowered their standards. A time they abandoned hope. Something that terrified them

To be added

9. Your character wakes up in a Militia cell with no clear memories of their last few hours. Given time to think it over, why will they conclude they are there?

I suspect I may have hit someone or killed someone deserving of it.

10. Your character was obliged to leave town. As they fled, they left messages with a trusted friend. Most of them dealt with religious and social obligations, and put in place provision for their return (or otherwise) - but they found time for one quick personal note. Who is it to, and roughly what does it say?

    * What would your character's alignment be given as, if they appeared in a pastiche of the Monstrous Manual? Two words only.

I suspect she would be lawful neutral

    * Give one OOC goal you have/had for your first event a this character.

To hit something (I am a simple creature)

    * Your character is asked by the second-best friend of their mother, or maybe by their mentor's bridge partner, "So, what is it you do all day?" - how do they answer?

I seek to bring Justice to those who have sinned in His eyes

    * Describe a death for this character that you, the player, would consider pure, unadulterated win.

Either one involves shouting "By my Ultimate Faith!"

    * Under the effects of Compel Truth (which requires them to give full and truthful answers), your character is asked, without context, "Where did you hide the bodies?" How do they answer?

We didn't hide them, the funeral rites were performed over them and they were buried respectfully in the hope that some god would forgive their sins

    * Your character was voted "Most Likely To (something)" by their class (or equivalent). Most likely to what?

Die in the Service of the temple

    * Following a lost bet during a particularly raucous evening, your character is obliged to get a tattoo of something, the following morning. What image or phrase do they pick, and optionally, why?

Traditionally one does not choose this sort of tattoo. as such it would likely be somethign terrible. In all honesty I cannot see myself getting into this situation

    * Your character discovers that a parent, superior or local notable is about to visit their dwelling place. What is the first thing they hide?

I do not hide anything
