 1. Who are you?

Aefer Blackwater, Witch. And that is Miss Blackwater to you. Or if you wish for accuracy then Mrs Blackwater.

2. Do you have any brothers or sisters?

I have 3 younger brothers

3. How old are you?

26

4. What's your height?

Tall enough.

5. Are you a virgin?

....*Excuse* me?! That is a most impertinent question.

6. Who's your mate/spouse?

Apparently I am married to the jumped up little fairy known as the Fae of Prisoners. He will be learning the consequences of Rash Action mark my words...

7. Do you have any kids?

There appears to be a spider that is quite convinced I am its mother, given it burst forth from my eyesocket I would surmise this means it is at least partially accurate.

8. What's your favorite food?

I am most fond of walnuts

9. Have you killed anyone?

Almost certainly, the magic had to be earthed somewhere and it was his own fault for trying to summon without a name or sifficient wardings. I can't say for certain as I only found a scorchmark...

10. Have any secrets?

I often feel that secrets are things that people don't tell others but wish others to find out about, frequently through mascochism. As such I do not have secrets, only things that I have not yet told people.

11. Do you love anyone?

No, nor ay intent to

12. What is your job?

I am a Witch, given you are askign me this question I consider it highly unlikely that you have the faintest idea of what that means so I will explain it in the simplest terms; It is like a Warlock, only without being bound to the feckless idiots in the brotherhood. Also somewhat more competant.

13. Boy or girl?

I assure you I am female

14. What do you do to relax?

Garden

15. There's a person who's teasing you; what could you do?

It is very rare that people tease me for long shall we say.

16. Let’s say you have a person who you really care about but she/he doesn’t know about your feelings. How do you tell her/him?

You simply tell them. There is absolutely no point in dithering around about it.

17. What do you regret most in life?

Life is not without consequences, it is best nto to regret them, only to modify furture behaviour in light of them.

18. Do you like your maker?

Defining a maker is an interesting question, as it may refer to so many people and beings. As such I can say with confidence that I have either liked or respected anyone who could have ever been considered my maker.

19. What do you fear?

Fear is the refuge of the unprepared mind

1. What would your character kill for? What would they die for?

It is most unwise to declare you would die for something ahead of time as you have very little evidence on which to base this. I would, however, kill when it is needed, some people are too foolish to live and thus when a life is needed then they are the first to look to.

2. What would they refuse to do under any circumstances? Why?

I consider it highly unlikely that I would ever consider lowering myself to joining the Warlocks or the Brotherhood

3. What do they dream about? [Either literal or figurative].

Absolutely nothing most usually. I prefer to concern myself with the here and now

4. What’s their biggest fear?

Once again, fear is the refuge of the unprepared. Justifiable concerns are better

5. What single object would they be most hard pressed to part with? Why?

My focus, naturally.

6. What is their fondest memory?

I have some fond memories of earlier rituals and have a great pride in the one that killed anything under 2 inches long in the garden.

7. What is their worst memory?

The scorchmark was... Shocking... I knew that it was the likely outcome but still was not quite expecting the severity

8. What or who was were their most significant influence? Expound.

Mrs Saltmarsh taught me all I know about magic and witching.

9. What do they believe makes a successful life?

Performing duties sucessfully.

10. What makes them laugh?

I will admit a certain shame in finding the stupidity of others amusing.

11. What are their religious views?

Lay Morvanian.

12. What is their greatest strength?

I have an extremely sharp mind and a forthright nature

13. Do they have a fatal flaw? If so, what is it?

Absolutely none, and I am most careful to avoid such. Others would say I act rashly and unwisely, I would say I do what I must given the circumstances I find myself in...

14. Who is the most important person in their life?

Mrs Saltmarsh

15. If they died or went missing, who would miss them most?

The plants would miss me I suspect.

16. How would they describe themselves?

Sharp, shrewd and does not suffer fools.

17. How would others describe them?

"Her in the hat" is something I have heard uttered frequently.

Jacob's Meme

How do you look different to your player?

Taller, sharper features, permenant scowl, notably has one eye

What are your hobbies or entertainments?

I garden and read

How do you support yourself?

The cottage is largely self sufficient. Occassionally we take in laundry or sell some of the excess plants and animals.

What is your home like?

A standard cottage, small, heavily furnished and with an extensive and well kept garden

What are your most cherished possessions?

My focus

What are you proudest of?

Being more sensible than my years would suggest.

What are you most ashamed of or feel most guilty about?

I can say with absolute confidence that there is absolutely nothing.

Under what circumstances is it justifiable to resort to violence?

Rarely is a problem fixed by direct physical violence, more often the application of magics or a stern voice will fix most issues...

1. Your character is being announced at the Royal Ball by the most pompous, enthusiastic and long-winded Master of Ceremonies in recorded history. What do they declaim?

"Mrs Aefer Blackwater" I do not believe in fancy titles, your own name should be sufficient for people to know who and what you are.

2. Give a 6-word backstory and/or history for your character, prior to their entering play - it is needed for the character bio on the back cover of this season's DVD.

"Just a little bit too sensible"

3. However improbable it may seem, your character just won a boasting competition. What was their winning boast?

I would not lower myself to such a competition, do you take me for soem vapid brotherhood mage?

4. Your character loses a hand irrevocably, and is given the opportunity to have something grafted on to replace it. What do they pick?

I am nto sure I would...

5. What one impossible thing would you most like to have, be, or be able to do, in order to better physrep your character?

Taller and louder

6. Your character is asked by their immediate superior which one thing they would choose to save from their dwelling, were it on fire. Sensing that a flippant answer is not called for, how do they instead answer?

The books.

7. Your character was abducted by Nightmares (or local equivalent) on the way out of the Arms, and wakes up in a sack (just as armed as they left the pub). What do they have in their pockets, and what one further thing do they wish they had also picked up from home this morning?

A focus and a few bits of tat. I sorely wish I had picked up the frying pan

8. Your character's life is flashing before their eyes. Describe briefly any two of the following: Leaving their childhood home. Losing their first love. The first time they killed. The first time they lost a comrade. Another occasion on which they nearly died. A time they lowered their standards. A time they abandoned hope. Something that terrified them.

9. Your character wakes up in a Militia cell with no clear memories of their last few hours. Given time to think it over, why will they conclude they are there?

Well, I almost certainly should not be here. This has happened before of course, it never lasts long...

10. Your character was obliged to leave town. As they fled, they left messages with a trusted friend. Most of them dealt with religious and social obligations, and put in place provision for their return (or otherwise) - but they found time for one quick personal note. Who is it to, and roughly what does it say?

"I will return shortly"
