Pirates! On an adventure with Scientists!
It appears to feature Pirates! BRIAN BLESSED BEING LOUD, Claymation, Pirates!, Darwin, Exclamation Marks and Pirates!
If this does not appeal, you arr silly.
I'd enjoy getting a bunch of like-minded people together to dress as pirates, see this film, then go to the Live and Let Live and enjoy their usually vast selection of rum and rum-based products.
UPDATE:
Unless there's any objection, I'm going with Sunday, 1820, Grafton Centre Vue as that's when most people appear to be available.

- If you wait until Saturday I will be around and will be full of KEEN to go and see this (ideally at Vue to avoid annoying plastic glasses)- Biscuits
- I'm back Sunday... --MorkaisChosen
- Maybe --dp
- 100% on board --andy [not sure if I can do this as might be in Wales]
- Maybe, although I read this: http://www.thefword.org.uk/blog/2012/04/what_pirates_ta and it kinda put me off -Salavant
- Take that review with a large scoop of salt, it read to me like she didn't find the the film funny, so decided to contrive reasons for it being anti-feminist. The author claims the female captain is "the only one with no crew", but apart from the Pirate Captain, none of the other captains turn up with crew in tow. "Surprisingly Curvaceous Pirate" is a dig at the Captain for his inability to see through her terrible fake beard even while remarking that someone else looks like a woman dressed as a male sailor and calling S.C.P. by that name. I could continue, but spoilers. As with all reviews, Your Mileage May Vary. Certainly it did for the 3 sniggering TTers in headscarves. --Jim
- Could perhaps do Sunday evening, around 7pm, although dressed as pirates might be a push... We'll be on our way back into town from Hitchin --ahdok
- arrrrrrrrrr - porange
NOTE:
If you are around on Saturday/earlier on Sunday, some of us will also be making a film! See http://tt.soc.srcf.net/wiki.pl?FortyEightHourSciFiFilm for more details, and poke androidkiller on IRC if interested
