House de Cassefort is a smallish Barony, based in the Lowen Valley at an estate a day or two's walk from Carhais. The current Baron, Jacintha, succeeded her father a few years ago and seems generally well received.
Romuald is a channeler of reasonable skill and a retainer of de Cassefort. By preference, he's a tutor to the House's children - teaching geography, history, deportment, mathematics and of course a little magic, if they've the aptitude.
With the Breaking, Jacintha has despatched Romuald to Fiveways, there to represent the House and to try to resolve the matter by whatever means seem appropriate.
