Not technically a larp event, TORM is 'The Original Re-enactors Market'. It is the biggest market for re-enactment gear of all periods in the UK and a great place to get either fully made kit, stuff made to order or raw materials. It is on twice a year, in spring and autumn, with the next one being on the 16th, 17th and 18th of March. Some familiar faces, notably Evenlode, also tend to trade there, due to the number of larpers who consistently turn up. Keith Lyon leather is strongly recommended if you are making any leather items, as he brings a huge selection of hides to choose from. http://www.reenactorsmarket.co.uk/
An entirely new and quite unusual sounding game being playtested in Oxford by its creator, David Mumford. Set in a spirit world (I think) where the players are the spirits of humans who have been affected by the spirits of various tribes of competing birds. Or something; I don't know a huge amount about the system, but based on the people and limited info it sounds like it has the potential to be very creative and beautiful. Probably combat-lite.
Run by Profound Decisions, who did Maelstrom and are now running Empire.
This is set in Mythic east Mediterranean, including quests, arena combat, priests who actually talk with their gods, and philosophers who (try to) bend the world to their will. Available factions are Romans, Greeks, Persians, Egyptians, Carthaginians, and the newly formed nation of Hellas Phoenicia.

People Attending
(From Website) At Erusin the Five Tribes faced the Vexen and prepared for war. However, they soon learnt that the Vexen weren’t their biggest threat. The world shook, the explosions echoed across Vusoria as something unknown struck out against the inhabitants. Silence descended on the world, especially for the priests. Then the creatures came, black chitinous, clawed beasts that killed indiscriminately. Even the Vexen ran. How will you survive?
The Fall of Vusoria is an apocalyptic, survival horror campaign, set in the fantasy world of Vusoria. Five Tribes each with different religions, culture and skills are forced together to face an unknown enemy and decide how to save the world.
[Playing costs money, monstering generally has food charges. Fairly monster-heavy for a small larp. Run by lovely and highly bloodthirsty folks. Costumes/Races? are color-coded, kit can range from simple to fairly complex. Single plot.]

Next event is 6-8th March at some camp in Staffs.

“No one is sure how long it has been since the Burn. Long enough that much of what came before has been obscured by time and nature.”
Probably best summed up as post-apocalyptic dieselpunk, with zombies. The system has fairly simple combat rules and uses Nerf guns for ranged fighting; it also has excellent and very open-ended crafting rules.
Next event will be sometime during 2014.
