Bob the Dodgy

Example pure Subterfuge character using /Subterfuge. Of a definite combative bent - the Downtime Win of Subterfuge is largely unchanged, except for Disguise having bitten the dust.

Level 1

Level 2

A perfectly credible 90 XP linear character, I think. 4/2, ambidaggers for singles, 5 points of armour, and backstabbing for single through. And a concealed dagger, for bonus points.

Level 3

I don't think this character's too bad for starting with. A point of DAC, Shortsword/dagger pair for singles, backstabbing with the dagger for single through, and the option of blade venom on that single through. And you can commit all manner of crime in downtime and largely get away with it due to that Alias.

Level 4

Can use a pair of shortswords, 1 XP off a second point of DAC. Shiny backstabbing, but at the cost of having to go daggery.

Level 5

Starting to get combat tricks and knockout. Two points of DAC. Can shiv someone in the back for moderate to extreme pain, and run away with only social stigma able to catch him. 6/3.

Level 6

This character is quite scary, but he should be with this many XP. Is he scary enough? Is the flaw in my Subterfuge tree, or in this build from that tree?

Level 7

Level 8

And here he is at 3YGB level. 8/4, studded leather everywhere but the head, scary backstabbing and combat tricks, and still a decent amount of the Downtime Win.
