SECOND SET OF STUFF UP! Items not marked as sold from the first batch are still nabbable!

So! I bought a Metric Fucktonne of Costume Stuff, sight unseen, at an auction. I consequently have a pile of kit that I'd like to get rid of. I'm happy to transport things to larp events or other meets that I'll be attending by car. Transport is otherwise Your Problem, arrange as you please. ;) Payment is fine via bank transfer, Paypal or cash in hand at some future date.

If you would like to buy any of this kit off me, please email me at elschlappa at gmail dot com. Commenting on this page is not sufficient! First come, first served. I will update this page as things go. Please be specific about precisely what you want - item, size and condition in the case of hosiery - it will save lots of back-and-forth!

This is the first set of Stuff - hoopskirts and assorted hosiery. Second Set of Stuff to come once I've photographed it. Photos contain cameo appearances of my fabulous yeti slippers. When looking at photos, bear in mind I'm five foot eight when considering length, though many of the hoopskirts would be easily adjustable. :) All sizes are going to be approximations, but I think they're reasonably on course.

PART 2

Devices for making your arse larger

By which I mean, bumrolls and similar, presumably for Elizabethan/other similar sticky-out-skirts silhouettes, or for if you just like that sort of thing. Some size estimates are marked. If you can't see any strings, assume they're missing and you'll need to take a minute or so to sew on some ribbon. :P

1 - 5 Small. I mean, tiny, size 8 and below with the exception of #4. I'm pretty sure these are meant for children. 10p each. Please, if they fit you or you have some other use for the things, take them away!

6 -7 Smallish. I reckon size 10 and below for 6, size 14 and below for 7, which is some kind of pad thing. I don't know. 20p each.

8 - 9 Sensible-sized - sizes shown. 8 needs some minor repairs. 50p each.

SOLD Bonnet
It's a poke bonnet! Red velvet. Smallish, recommend head less than 22in. £3

SOLDCape and skirt

These are the same fabric and go together, so I'd like to sell them together, but I'll sell separately if need be. They're both rather nice and in very good nick, except that the skirt's zip is broken and now only fastens with a hook and eye at the top. Would be easy to repair just with ribbons or something. There's a fair bit of fabric in the skirt, which is two-layered, so it would work either for a narrow Edwardian look, or it will go over a hoopskirt if it's not too huge (at an estimate, anything <30in diameter is probably fine.) Skirt is longish, goes to just above the ankle on me, but it's easy to wriggle up or down. A little stretch in the waist - I reckon size 14 and under.

Skirt and cape:

Skirt alone: '£5''
Cape alone: '£10''
Skirt + cape: '£12.50''

Various underskirts

1. Knee length, cotton, drawstring up to a size 16. £1

2. Just below the knee on me. Cotton, double-layered with ruffle on the hem, quite flouncy. Hook and eye fastens at a size 10, but elastic up to a 12. Long slit at the back but easily modified with two minutes and a sewing machine. Good under a fifties-style skirt. £3

3. Full length, polycotton, drawstring to a size 16. £2

4. Full length, heavy cotton with some blue nylon at the top. Full length. This is intended to be turned into a hoopskirt as it has two channels for boning, but could easily be worn just as a sturdy underskirt. Drawstring up to a size 18. £2.50

5. Calf length. Some sort of synthetic or synthetic blend. Size 12 or under. Yes, yes it is slightly translucent - you're welcome. 50p.

6. Two of these! Calf length, pale yellow polycotten and net. Slit down the thigh at the back, drawstring up to a 16. They're fairly horrible but would be good for adding volume to skirts when you don't want the encumberance of a hoopskirt. Or if you want to illustrate the life of an easter chick through the medium of interpretive dance. Or you could build some kind of doomsday device with them or something. I don't know. They're £1 each or £1.50 for the pair, please make them go away :P

PART ONE

HOOPSKIRTS

1. SOLD Longish, recommend 5 foot 6 and over. Drawstring waist up to 14/16. Heavy light blue fabric. Two metal hoops, channel for a third. Good silhouette. Minor repairs could be done to channels but not necessary for wearing. 36in diameter. £10.

---

2. SOLD Longish, recommend 5 foot 6 and over. Elastic drawstring waist up to 16/18. Heavy light blue fabric. Two metal hoops. Sturdily made, in good condition, very good silhouette. 36in diameter. £12.

---

3. SOLD Longish, recommend 5 foot 6 and over. Medium weight white cotton, a little shabby (some rust spots) but mostly fine. Drawstring waist up to 14/16. Two metal hoops, channel for a third. Needs minor repairs on two channels, otherwise sturdy. Good silhouette. 35in diameter. £8.

---

4. SOLD Medium length, recommend for 5 foot 6 and under. Heavy white cotton, sturdy. Drawstring waist up to 16/18 and down to 10 or under. Two metal hoops, channel for a third. A bit shabby and worn, channels could do with minor repairing in a couple of places, but structurally sound and serviceable. Good silhouette. 35in diameter. £8.

---

5. Knee length. White cotton. Drawtring waist up to size 14. Single metal hoop. 28in diameter. £4

---

6. Longish. White synthetic. Three narrow metal hoops - top hoop is broken in one section, channel easily repaired, or could just remove top hoop. Needs a drawstring adding - size 12 and under. 31in diameter. £3

---

7. Medium - recommend for people under five foot 6, size 12 and under - needs a drawstring feeding into channel. Single metal hoop. White synthetic. Net ruffle. 24in diameter. £4

---

8. SOLD Long - ankle length but easy to roll over at waist. Bandless stretchy waist up to 12/14. White stretchy. Ruffle. Single metal hoop, channel for a second. Circa 28in diameter. £4

---

9. SOLD Long - ankle length. Black synthetic material. Tie back, long slit, recommend size 12 and down. Single narrow metal hoop. Good condition. 28in diameter. £4

---

10. Ankle length on 5 foot 6. White synthetic. Drawstring up to size 14/16. Single metal hoop, channels for two more. Hoop is warped as the photo shows, and needs replacing or adjusting. Diameter 26in. £2

---

11. Long - ankle length. White stretchy. Drawstring waist, probably up to a 14/16 - stretchy. Single metal hoop, but channel for a second. Net ruffle. 26in diameter. £4

---

12. Long - ankle length at 5 foot 8. White synthetic. Won't quite close on a size 12 but needs strings adding anyway. Plastic hooping is ineffectual and warped, but would serve well just for added volume, as it's covered in net ruffles. Circa 27in diameter. £2

ASSORTED HOSIERY

All socks are white and over-the-knee unless otherwise stated. All tights are white or cream opaque “woolly” ones unless otherwise stated. They're sold by the pair, I'm not flogging single socks. :P

All previously-worn items have been washed by me, never fear!

Please note! Most of the tights will not fit you unless you’re of an average–to–slender disposition! They’re unlikely to fit anyone over a size 14, presumably owing to repeated washing. “Small” ones, particularly, are mostly quite small around the waist as well as in the leg. Once again, bear in mind that these are sized by me, and I’m a size 12 and five foot 8. For men - essentially, if you're of a lean persuasion, you're probably good.

Rough sizing guide:

L/Men?: Over five foot 8 (plenty of room on me.)
M: Five foot 6 and under, maybe a little taller if you have short legs.
S: Small people or children. Probably 5 foot 4 and under.

SUNDRIES:

2 x white leggings, as new. M length, size 12 or under. £3.
