The King's Crossbow Legion are a ragtag band of misfits in uniform, mainly put together of people who are in some way useful to the army but might be better off outside the usual chain of command. This includes some Balance priests, Bastites, trigger-happy mages and overly paranoid rangers.Competency with a crossbow is not required, as the name was simply that of an old company that was gradually repurposed. This is unlike the King's Crossbow Guards, who have a fierce rivalry with the Legion, mainly on account of the Legion getting all the girls/guys.
Scorpia, Aeryn and Aramthea were the most recent KCL members in the city. Fingolfia, Kelpie and Porange apologise for nothing.
