KenderPhysrepping

Argue about Kender physrepping here:

Camp A: Paint 'Em Yellow (or orange)

I can cope with any option other than this one. Full face snaz is a bastard and it means there will be another race for which physrepping is a serious effort, which means fewer PCs, and very few NPCs. --Pufferfish
I agree. --Locksmith
Also agree. --Valtiel

Camp B: Paint Funny Colours Around The Eyes

Provided this isn't what we end up doing for dwarves. Or an orange band across the forehead.--Locksmith
Not sure why dwarves couldn't be 'metallic colours around eyes' and kender be orange, yellow or some kind of rainbow combo around the eyes... (I would say rainbow around eyes but that would actually be hard to paint, even though it would be awesome) --ChessyPig
I'd prefer not around the eyes but on the forehead, as we physrep so many races with eye-snaz. Also I am biased because I can't cope with snaz on my eyes. :P --Locksmith
I suggested last year paiting their noses, bright colours for young colour and dark colours (excluding brown :P) for older. I don't think it's that silly, especially for kender! I think forehead is rule out by god/demon markings. --Chevron
I actually think noses is a pretty good idea. --Locksmith
I like a snazzed nose stripe, although I dislike yellow as it doesnt show up that well in poor yellow light on the yellowy-pinky-cream skin as featured on much of the playerbase. Also it needs to go right down to the end of the nose or glasses will hide it. --Zebbie
Snazzed noses and/or eyebrows, in primary or rainbow colours? --Valtiel
... That aren't already elemental colours --Aq

Camp C: Don't Paint Them Any Funny Colours, Keep Confusing Them For Humans Or True Elves

I like confusion. It leads to wrong assumptions and moments of hilarity but this may just be me. --Malselene
I kind of like them being confusing for much the same reasons :) --Porange
I'm going for this one. We do actually have physrep requirements for Kender, and they should have pointy ears (One of the reason Satrah hasn't been played is that he doesn't), top-knots (if hair-applicable) and bright colours, and otherwise look human. I like that there can be confusion with humans who dress like Kender. --Aq
*grin* I guess if someone wants to demean themselves by looking like a lesser race they are welcome ;-) *runs* --Pufferfish
I had not thought about kender trying to dress as humans. Thank you for your input :-P --Aq

Camp D: Special Snowflakes

Camp E: Ban Kender! (this is not a serious suggestion) --Delvy

Whoops I slipped, gosh how did I end up here? - Bryony
YES! --Jacob
Or, failing that, how about making the physrep requirement for kender "is on fire"? --Jacob
First, you'd have to show that physrep to be appropriate. By, for example, making sure that all Kender in the setting are on fire. --Valtiel
Oh it can be arranged, believe me ;) --Delvy

Camp F: True elves should have some kind of racial physrep to distinguish them from kender.
