The amusing part of her backstory is the oath referred to below, in Yorvik she accidentally swore not to enter the Temple of Morvana. So they made her swear an oath not to make oaths without permission and packed her off to Grantabrugge.

I'm a knight of Morvana and an alchemist. I'm getting better at both of them, I'm sure they wouldn't have promoted me if I wasn't capable.

Play games, truth or dare's great fun, my mother keeps on telling me to grow up though.
