Prologue
You awoke on the ground, the taste of blood in your mouth.
You have but your name, everything else is lost to you.
Somehow you found the church, from there you found the others.
Your past life, in another world, did not prove you worthy. You have been given one last chance, you must prove yourself, and attain glory.
You must ascend from this forsaken place, or lose everything that defines you trying.
Theme: Fleeting Glory, Decaying Faith.
In this world of limbo and death, your characters are fallen heroes of another world. Despite any prowess, education, or lineage, their deeds in that world are no more. Your character’s strength of will and Faith is all that protects them from damnation. Here, your will is broken by being beaten down, getting back to your feet with the help of others, or by causing irreparable damage to your will. But that oft-forgotten glory might protect you.
