Sam Green, otherwise known as Samantha de Deramore, ran away from home and is now trying to help people in Grantabrugge, whilst also searching for a way to get rid of her murderous alter ego, Tyla. She was born to a noble family in the north, but escaped for reasons she keeps hidden from most. She is now a priest of Laeknir, and is trying her very best to help as many people as she can. She married Dawn du Montford, who subsequently died the day after in the battle between the King, Queen and Grantabrugge (or, more accurately, the battle between Grantabrugge and the Lord Protector). Samantha is now apparently heir to a large house filled with urchins.
