:While I suggested this, I'm not sure about it. Problems: A) level of damage at high levels is obscene, and in particular far beyond anything 'plain' characters are normally capable of (QUAD). B) still has all the flaws of archery, and isn't that scary against tough opponents due to the limitations therein. It's basically the approach Odyssey took, but I'm not sure how well it'd work in TT. --Tea |
Thought I'd record a few of the suggestions and create a sandbox for discussion and further suggestions.
Also for the record I'd like to suggest giving Subterfuge Single Through at Lv5. No really.
Anyway:
-Doubles at Lv6. Helps make it slightly less shit at high level compared to warrior.
-Brawling. Given it's a tree that gives weapon skills like Warrior and Subterfuge, it seems odd for it not to offer brawling when they do; unarmed combat would seem in keeping with the flavour of Wilderness.
-Some kind of resilience skill (eg bleeds out slower?)
-Some manner of combat status effects.
-Ability to improvise melee weaponry given 60 seconds out of combat and an appropriate physrep?
-Ability at high-level camouflage to hide an unresisting other person provided they don't move? (useful for eg hiding a body, or an unconscious friend so they don't get stabbed up)
-Double (or otherwise ramp up) the Targeteer calls.
-Allow to use any two-handed weapon, not just staves. Come on, Greataxe ranger is just cool. Also reduces physrep pressure.
Further suggestions, and discussion?
