Campaigns I am running, or plan to run.

Talk to me if you're interested.

Jim Ruins Childhood TV Shows

Inspired by the realisation that wholesome kids TV shows like Thomas the Tank Engine and My Little Pony are in fact terrifying autocracies http://hellotailor.tumblr.com/post/114404121628/unclewhisky-deducecanoe, and this http://www.ruleofcool.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/My-Little-Legend.pdf

In the land of Sodor, where the shadows lie

See above. It's basically going to be Paranoia, where you are literally being railroaded. Because you are anthropomorphised steam engines. Poop poop!

You have been picked to run the Special Services. Aren't you lucky? You are lucky, the Fat Controller says so. It will be Fun and Rewarding. The Fat Controller says so. You wouldn't want to end up on the Other Railway now, would you?

Root out Privatising Traitors! Literally make the trains run on time for a funny-hatted dictator! Don't get walled up forever in a tunnel!

+1 - Kiwi No idea how it'd work, but YES, time permitting. -- Nyeti

Not Your Pony: Freedom is Magic

"Benevolence is no excuse for tyranny" - Rebel Whinny

Also the fact that I haven't ruined any treasured childhood memories lately. Blame Zebbie. Possibly running with Legend, more likely with Fate as I'm lazy and Legend is full of numbers.

You are small, magical equines looking to escape the tyranny of both Enforced Story Morals wherever you go and a terrible pegasus overlord who defines your very societal roles and nature by magical buttock brands. As if that was not bad enough, things beyond reason lurk outside the world. They know your universe was made for a purpose, but they want it to serve their own. They love you. They write creepy creepy fic about you. Yeah, this game will have Neckbeard Brony Nurgle Cultists.

This also looks hilarious. -- Nyeti

Bullshit Cider Trek

One-off game using the Star Wreck RPG system. A parody of Star Trek where you have Incompetence scores to overcome, classes include Annoying Nerd and Psychotic Loud-Mouth and you don't have Hit Points, you have Red Shirts to take the hits for you/ To be conducted simultaneously with a review of further BullshitCider or other silly booze. possibly in-character.

Star Wreck RPG (Free!): http://rpg.starwreck.com/download.php

Lost in Smeg

Red Dwarf setting, PCs are a different set of derelict-salvaging spaaaaaace louts stuck 3 million years into spaaaaaace for equally silly reasons.. Running off the FATE Accelerated rules, so a simple system. Either a one-off or some sort of campaign depending how it goes. FATE rewards you for playing you your character's aspects, so Rule Of Funny is baked right in :).

Something useful for getting used to FATE Accelerated, Luke Skywalker as a FAE char over the course of the three movies. obviously spoiler warning for star wars. https://mdpaste.appspot.com/p/agdtZHBhc3Rlcg0LEgVQYXN0ZRjZ6xgM --Hark

Potentially interested -Hark
Entimix thinks this sounds like a lark
You mentioned Red Dwarf and thus have me very much interested. -Hobnoblin (NB: I come with a noob warning but if simple system, s'all good)
Ollie also mentioned interest. -Jim
Very tempted - if it's a one-off, and this being timing-dependent. -Nyeti

The Sound of Minions: A Supervillain Musical

This can be entirely blamed on a combination of cider, Fraser, Dr Horrible, and Disney musical Youtube Videos. I dunno what system I want to run it with, only the concept:

Squee. -Nyeti
Provisionally interested (I have a bad timetable) - Ivan

Previous Campaigns

Stuff I might do sometime

Mean Streets of Toril - Neverwinter Nights module

(postponed until Jim has more time and people have the game)

You can get NWN for less than £4 these days off Good old Games, or about £5 anywhere else :).

It is centuries after the usual Forgotten Realms setting, in a Maztican colonial city called New Lantan. It is Suspiciously Like 1930s Chicago, but with magic potions under prohibition as opposed to booze. The characters play as members of the Unusual Crimes Unit, investigating racketeering, cults, and other large scale wierdness. I've got a setting and module sorted, as I ran this for a while before scheduling troubles ate it.

THis will be starting after Jewelcast has a new PC and therefore all players can turn up.

Players:

Which, if any, expansions will this require? Also, the Manual link appears to be broken. --Entimix
It'll require Hordes of the Underdark and Shadows of Udrentide. It will also require .haks but I'll just put those on one big honking download. I don't THINK there's anything from Kingmaker in the mod but the editions on sale in most places have all the expandsions. The admin account on that forum appears to be rejecting my password after I renamed it, so the manual link is an expired one. New one below
